So its still day one, we are now going to the boardwalk. We arrive at the board walk and decide to walk around a bit before we eat. So we walk one way 15 mins sight seeing... and we get hungry (of course) so we start walking back. a bunch of place were closed cause it was Monday night so we walk until we arrived at Stewarts (yes as in stewarts root beer). We ate there (i had a cheese steak and root beeer for those who really wanted to know) and then continued walking.
We then preceded towards Morey's pier. Before we got there i road raced my on Go-Karts and won! :D Wen we arrived a the pier we got 150 tickets and set out to our rides. My parents went and rode one of the bigger coasters. After they were done me and my sisters went on a coaster that wasnt huge but it was fun. This guys at the beginning said to Keturah that he had a bet with the other workers on who would scream the loudest. He didnt have to say that to win. She.Went.Berserk. it was hilrious! I was laughing at her the whole time. In the end she loved it. We went on a few other small rides but then we went on... "The Ghost Ship" Dun DUn DUN!
WARNING: This next section will be very graphic and extreme scary. Not really but if you go along with it then you can make it the way i am saying it will be. Please do no scream, cause then i scream. If you just screamed... I will deal with you later.
So you enter into a dark room maybe 3 people wide. This lady gives you instruction, i detested all of them. Here are a few:
(sat these in a witch type voice)
1) "There will be no running. EVER. No matter how scared you are.
2) You cannot touch the actor/people but they may most certainly touch you.
3) You must never stray. You must always stay going the right way.
Yeah, i hated all of those rules. Very annoying, cause my instinct is to punch when threatened... :P Anywho, we enter into this room where you watch this video about the ship you are in entering code red and you need to evacuate. So right as the movie ends these two people try to scare you through these two wholes in the wall. You continue into another room where they will jump out or reach from within bars and fences to try and touch you. They will have crazed people behind fences like freaking out in a scary. ( they all had really professional make up that made them look like real freaks. It was like movie grade make up). At one point this guy followed us with a real sledgehammer banging on oil drums that lined the walkway.. it was scary.. he kept on screaming at us to keep going and not to look back..... We went through this room where this guy was down at the floor and he would reach for your feet.. One of the guys who was with us (he was prob like 24) after going through the room said the guy took his shoe... We went through another room, this [zombie] guy was behind bars yelling, "HELP ME!" and we walked by and he then pulled the bars apart and walked out and said, " Why wouldn't you help me!!!" and yelled at you. There were some other things that were freaking but most of all the only lights were dim slowly strobing lights. it was freaky cause you could barely see.
I did say it would be fun to go through with some friends and try to mess with and scare the actors. :)
But seriously if you are ever in Wildwood on Morey's Pier i would recommend it... if you dont mind being really scared.
So after that we went and got ice cream from Kohr Bros. Best ice cream on the boardwalk.
Day: 2
This is only what we did on the boardwalk on day two so it is much shorter.
We went and i got a necklace and awesome sun-glasses. Then i got the best Angry Birds pinny every. And then we left.
So yeah thats what we did on the boardwalk in Wildwood.
Other than what i described in the past two days we didnt do much else. Some swimming at the hotel pool but other than that not to much. But in the end we had a funtastic time.
